Chateau Sakaori Koshu Dry 2024 750ml
[Chateau Sakaori Koshu Dry 2024]
Winner of the highest award in the Koshu category at the 2023 Japan Wine Competition!
This is a fresh and juicy wine made from Koshu grapes harvested in three of Yamanashi Prefecture's most representative wine-producing regions.
A refreshing yet expressive dry white wine with a variety of fruit flavors including apple, pineapple, and citrus fruits.
The wine is dominated by the rich fruity flavor of the Tamamoro district of Kofu city, with the sharp acidity of the Hosaka district of Nirasaki city and the minerality of the Ichinomiya district of Fuefuki city in exquisite harmony.
The robust fruitiness and minerality give the wine volume, and the pleasant acidity and slightly bitter taste characteristic of Koshu leave a pleasant lingering finish. This dry white wine has a sharp and dry impression.
