Sake x Potatoes: A limited collaboration between Echimeijo and Koikeya!

Yamashiroya is made to be enjoyed with meals, based on the concept of " enriching life through food . "
Koikeya and Yamashiroya, who share the same philosophy, have come together to create this collaboration!

The " Yamashiroya Special Class" used in this limited collaboration set is the highest grade sake in the Yamashiroya brand. It is made with Koshitanrei 30 % polished rice and is of course brewed with kimoto yeast.
It has a mild fruity aroma reminiscent of white wine. When you put it in your mouth, it has a clean, transparent taste with a beautiful sweetness that spreads throughout your mouth despite its dry style.

Meanwhile, Koikeya also makes full use of the know-how it has cultivated over its long history in terms of taste and texture.
With the pride of being a long-established potato chip manufacturer, we put our efforts into creating a chip worthy of pairing with " Yamashiroya Special class."
After much trial and error, we came up with potato chips that have a flavor reminiscent of " shrimp and oysters in olive oil, " bringing out the full flavor of seafood.

The flavors of seafood and olives combine with the rich umami of " Yamashiroya Special Class" rice to create a rich, deep flavor.
