Watanabe Sake Brewery's "W Series" is a limited-production, build-to-order product brewed for carefully selected liquor stores that will lead the future of sake.
The brand name "W" represents three meanings: Watanabe Sake Brewery (Watanabe), World, and Warai (laughter).

W Aiyama has a sweet, rich, strawberry-like aroma and a smooth, luscious sweetness.
It has a delicate, rounded, and gentle flavor that is unique to Aiyama, also known as the "diamond of rice."

The "W Series" is brewed to Junmai Daiginjo standards, with rice polished to 50%, but it is labeled as Junmai-shu.
This is because we do not believe that reducing rice polishing or playing with numbers approaches the true essence that the W Series aims for.
