[Coco Farm & Winery Kaze no Rouge 2021]

A balanced and elegant red wine

At the mountain winery, where the wind blows, fully ripe, high-quality grapes are selected and fermented naturally.
The 2021 blend is 100% Zweigelt from Fujisawa Farm in Yoichi, Hokkaido.

It has a deep garnet color.
You can feel nuances of blueberries and dark cherries, as well as tomato, black pepper, leather, and fallen leaves.
On the palate, it starts with fresh fruit flavors and a light acidity, followed by a spicy finish with soft tannins.

"Coco Farm & Winery" is located at the foot of the mountain vineyard that opened in the 1950s.
They produce wine from 100% Japanese grapes, and in their own vineyards, they do not use any herbicides or chemical fertilizers, and fermentation at the winery is mainly done with natural wild yeast.
They value listening to the grapes and bringing out their best characteristics.
