[Sakai Winery Cohime]
White wine to enjoy with everyday meals
"Kohime" is the old local name for Sakai Winery in Delaware.
Due to the long-term sur lie aging, the color is slightly darker and the wine is dry and Kohime.
Enjoy the rich fruitiness and crisp acidity of Delaware with your everyday meals.
Sakai Winery is the oldest winery in Tohoku, founded in 1892.
Since around 2007, the company has switched from conventional farming methods to pesticide-free grape cultivation in its own fields, and has been grazing around 20 sheep in the fields to remove weeds.
We make wine using natural yeast and microorganisms found in the land, and we use the non-filtering method that we have been using since our founding, adhering to traditional methods to create wine that is rooted in the land and is particular about the wine.
