This junmai sake is brewed using the kimoto method and pesticide-free Gohyakumangoku rice, grown using the "Stork-friendly farming method."
It has a rich umami flavor while being a dry sake that you won't tire of.
While delicious at room temperature, warming it up brings out even more of its charm.
The "Stork-friendly farming method" is an initiative that aims for the natural return of storks by cultivating rice without any pesticides, thereby supporting insects that inhabit the rice paddies, frogs and loaches that eat those insects, and storks that feed on them.
Its goal is to produce safe rice and foster various living creatures, including storks.
A portion of the sales from this Tamagawa Stork sake is donated to the Stork Fund, which supports the reintroduction of storks into the wild.
