A New Expression of Albariño Born from Northern Terroir

Niigata One Coast, which was one of the first in Japan to commercialize Albariño, pursued the "northern potential" based on its experience and knowledge to create "le nord."

Considering the rainy season and cumulative temperature, this wine embodies the producers' vision, who have seen great potential in the Hokuriku and Tohoku regions. For the 2023 vintage, it is primarily made with Albariño from Yamagata Prefecture, blended with Albariño from contract farmers in Niigata and their own vineyards.
As the proportion of Niigata-grown grapes increases each year, the taste also continues to evolve.

The hot summer of 2023 is reflected in the quality of the wine, with a splendid aroma of stone fruits like peach and apricot, apple honey, and citrus wafting from the glass.
Upon tasting, a rich fruit flavor and gentle acidity spread, with a subtle astringency in the finish tightening the overall profile, creating a multi-layered taste.
