An incredibly artisanal cider made by a sake brewery

The Kami-Hoshino area of Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture, where Mitobe Shuzo is located, is a renowned fruit-producing region even within Yamagata, a prefecture known for its fruit. To the south of the brewery, their own apple, cherry, and chestnut orchards extend. This cider was released as a result of their efforts to find a way to utilize these blessings.

The initial year's batch didn't meet their quality standards, so the release was postponed, but it is finally being released now! This artisanal cider is made using the freshest possible ingredients, making full use of thinned fruits and residues without waste.
