[Mizukake Brewery MIZUKAKE BLANC 2023]

A small production white wine from a popular winery

An assemblage of 37% Gewurztraminer and blended lots (Pinot Gris, Riesling, Silvaner, etc.).

The Gewurztraminer is barrel fermented and aged in concrete containers after three weeks of maceration, while the remaining varieties are barrel fermented and then aged in stainless steel.

The top notes include scents of rose, lychee, tropical fruits, etc., which become stronger from the time of opening to the third day.
Immediately after opening, the phenolic flavor is not quite yet pronounced, but as the aroma develops nuances of ginger and black tea, it changes into pleasant, lingering tannins.

Mizukake Distillery (Mizukake Winery) is a small winery in Hara Village, Suwa County, Nagano Prefecture, at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains, that grows grapes mainly of Alsace varieties.
Since 2022, we have been producing white, rosé, and sparkling wines using our own grapes.
