Contract brewer: Domaine Hide

Grower and winemaker Kaori Hosaka returned to Yamanashi Prefecture in 2016 after working in the food and wine industry as a food coordinator and restaurant producer.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Wine Science from Yamanashi University and worked at the Yamanashi Wine Center, where he was involved in wine analysis, research assistance and brewing.
He started growing grapes in 2016, and as there is no winery in his hometown of Nirasaki, Yamanashi Prefecture, he is currently preparing to open a winery in his hometown, while also contracting out wine brewing to Domaine Hide and Sanyo Brewery.
"Good wine comes from good grapes," is our belief, and we aim to use 100% grapes grown in-house, and to be consistent from raw materials to winemaking.
