A dry Junmai sake with a smooth mouthfeel and the distinctive flavor of Senbonnishiki followed by a crisp finish.
Rather than simply being spicy, it has a rich yet clear rice flavor that cuts through quickly and makes for a refreshing drink.
・From the back label: Tenpoichi is grown in a warm region in eastern Hiroshima prefecture, near the Seto Inland Sea (Kannabe-cho, Fukuyama city).
The "brewing water" used in sake brewing is soft water (ancient water) pumped up from 200 meters underground on our premises.
Our motto is to make sake that brings out the best in food, and we aim to make sake that does not interfere with your meal. We cherish the umami, acidity and sharpness that spreads when you put it in your mouth, and we brew all of our koji using our original box koji making method, brewing each grain carefully.
