Petit Verdot is known as an ancillary varietal in France, but it is well-suited to the climate and soil of Yamanashi, producing distinctive wines with a strong presence.

The 2021 vintage is 100% Petit Verdot, with no other varietals blended in.

With pleasant aromas of ripe fruit, vanilla, and caramel derived from the barrel, this wine boasts a lively and rich fruitiness, soft tannins, and a balanced acidity, resulting in a full-bodied finish.

It pairs well with beef stew, roast beef, steak, and simmered hamburg steak.
