Although it is dry, you can feel a slight sweetness in your mouth when you put it in your mouth, and it is a drink that goes down smoothly and you can drink as much as you want.
・About Morohashi Sake Brewery
Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, where the storehouse is located, is located almost in the center of the prefecture and, due to its location in a basin, is one of the snowiest areas in the prefecture.
When the snow that piles up on the mountains melts in the spring, it sinks deep into the soil and becomes purified, clear water for brewing sake. "Echigo Kagetora" uses spring water from "Morimori no Mori," which was selected as one of the 100 best waters in Japan, and water from a horizontal well dug on the premises of the brewery.
All of these sakes use soft water, which contributes to the production of sake that is dry but not harsh.
