[Horai uncensored liquor Pure rice unfiltered sake]

Pure rice sake with a soul

This undiluted sake is made by aging freshly squeezed pure rice sake in a warehouse for 6 months.
The umami of rice is condensed and expressed straight without filtering with carbon or adding water.

In the Meiji era, when the Sino-Japanese War broke out, rice for military use became more important than rice for sake brewing, and sake production was forced to decrease due to extreme shortages of supplies.
As a result, the bad habit of diluting sake with water and selling it to liquor stores, and liquor stores diluting it with water and selling it to customers spread. It is said that the sake was so thin that goldfish could swim in it, so it was called goldfish sake .

Even in such times, Ichiro Watanabe, the 6th generation head of Watanabe Sake Brewery, continued to make sake without diluting it.
This sake is a junmai sake, the origin of our founding, which continues to adhere to the family motto, "Even if the world is in turmoil, we should never deceive and straighten sake brewing."
