The sake rice used, “Tsuyahime,” is a rice of hope that Yamagata Prefecture created over 10 years, selected from 100,000 varieties, with the aim of producing the most delicious rice in Japan.
This sake embodies the desire to create a drink where with each sip, one can feel Yamagata's agriculture.
While the aroma is slightly more subdued than other Dewazakura sakes, it has a gorgeous aroma reminiscent of La France pears.
It is a smooth sake with an elegant sweetness and umami that are characteristic of the glossy rice.
