Kyoeido 2022 Autumn Release Orange Wine 02

Koshu grapes harvested in Katsunuma, Enzan, Yamanashi City, and Koshu City, aged for six months in large barrels.

A slightly clear amber color.
Aromas of nutmeg, almond, orange peel, and violet and apple.

On the palate, it flows smoothly, with complex oriental notes of cedar and liquorice spreading.
There is a slightly profound, rich, and almost baking-soda-like sensation that rises from the tongue.
The finish is also profound, giving the impression that the flavor lingers indefinitely.

Recommended with pork in a butter sauce, or classic yakitori with tare sauce!
Enjoying it in a larger glass at a slightly higher temperature will emphasize the flavor even more.
