[Dassai Blue Type 23]

Dassai's challenge to a new dimension, "DASSAI BLUE", arrives in Japan!

The news of Asahi Shuzo opening a sake brewery in New York State has caused a stir not only in the industry but also in the general public.
The concept of "DASSAI BLUE" brewed there comes from the Japanese proverb "Blue is bluer than ai," and this name was chosen with the desire to surpass the original Dassai made in Japan.

In response to the voices of people who said, "I'd like to try it at least once," Asahi Shuzo imported it from New York, so it can now be enjoyed in Japan.

DASSAI BLUE is a sake that is a rival to Dassai, with the goal of creating a Dassai that is even more delicious than the Japanese Dassai.
Through repeated trial and error, we continue to strive to create the best DASSAI BLUE.
This is a rare opportunity to experience the deliciousness of DASSAI BLUE in its current form in Japan!

"DASSAI BLUE TYPE23" is a Junmai Daiginjo sake made from Yamadanishiki rice polished to 23%, similar to the 23% polished Japanese rice.
Rather than aiming for the same taste as in Japan, we pursue the deliciousness that is unique to DASSAI BLUE, and aim to make the best drinks possible in the New York environment.

・From Asahi Shuzo's official website
The concept of DASSAI BLUE comes from the saying, "Blue comes from indigo, but is bluer than indigo."
This name was chosen with the hope that it would surpass the original Dassai made in Japan.
We brew the finest Junmai Daiginjo sake using water from Hudson Valley, New York, and Yamadanishiki rice.
