In 2022, Saburomaru Distillery brewed with super heavily peated malt from Islay. Islay peat is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain year by year, and persistent negotiations and a trusting relationship based on sincerity bore fruit.

The rich flavor woven by the gentle sea breeze embracing the powerful smokiness leads our souls, embraced by the mother sea and drifting in the waves, into the depths.
