[Spring nightingale summer pilgrimage sake Reiwa 5]

``Good health'' ``Prosperity in business'' ``Safety at home'' ``Escape from epidemics''
A drink to celebrate the end of the year, to express gratitude for the past six months, and to pray for peace in the coming six months.

June 30th marks the end of a year, half a year after the New Year's visit.

Since ancient times, on New Year's Eve, people have performed ``Toshikoshi Dai Purai'' to purify themselves of the year's sins and impurities, and on the following day, New Year's Day, as the beginning of a new city, they have ``Hatsumode,'' visiting shrines and temples to pray for peace for the coming year.

Natsumodezake is a drink that is held at the halfway point of the year, after the ``Summer Purification'' to purify sins and impurities, to express gratitude for the safety of the past six months and to pray for further peace in the coming six months. It means making a pilgrimage.

``Good health'' ``Prosperity in business'' ``Safety at home'' ``Escape from epidemics''
On the day of the ``summer pilgrimage'', it is purified by the chief priest of Atago Shrine in Yamanashi Prefecture, and becomes a lucky charm to pray for peace for those who drink it.
