This sake is made from 90 % polished "Nikomaru" rice from Hirado and almost unpolished Hiran, then stored in cedar barrels to impart a cedar aroma.
The banana-like scent blends in with the scent of cedar to create a soothing feeling.
It has a low alcohol content of 14 %, so you won't get tired of drinking it, and you can enjoy it at your own pace, as if you were taking a walk in the forest.

During the Age of Discovery, Hirado was one of the world's most important ports.

The sailors called Hirado "Finland"
In even earlier times, Hirado was called Hiran .
In order to aim to produce sake that allows people to feel the Hirado terroir, we chose Hirado's name, Hiran, which is full of ancient romance, as our brand.
