When you hear the term "nigori sake," many people may imagine a light, refined, cloudy sake.
However, this nigori is a very thick, rustic nigori. It's a delicious, thick pure rice sake that is more like eating than drinking.
・From the brewery: This sake is made in the Omi region with minimal use of pesticides, using healthy rice that has been carefully fermented, and then the mash is very roughly filtered to create a cloudy sake with a doburoku flavor.
In recent years, sake lees has been attracting attention as it has been recognized that it has various effects unique to fermented foods, such as fatigue recovery and improved immunity due to the various vitamins and essential amino acids it contains.
This cloudy sake retains all of the nutrients from the sake lees, making it the "best medicine."
