Sanjurokuninshu Junmai 1800ml
[Thirty-six Pure Rice]
Winner of the Grand Prize at the Japan National Fine Sake Appraisal
The sake brewing rice used, "Dewa no Sato," has a large core (the white part in the center of the rice) and is characterized by the fact that it produces a beautiful finish even without being highly polished.
This sake is made from 65 % polished rice, has a mild ginjo aroma and an elegant, refreshing taste.
This is a versatile pure rice sake that can be enjoyed at any temperature, from chilled to warm.
*Excerpt from Kikuyu's official website
This sake is named after the Thirty-Six Men who built the free city of Sakata, men who lived courageously through that era.
The aim is for the sake to be a so-called " lifestyle sake " to be enjoyed in the evening or at other times in daily life , so we do not focus solely on the aroma, but rather brew sake that can be drunk with confidence without losing its flavor even when warmed.
We aim to create a dry, crisp, yet deep flavor.
