・About Sasaichi Shuzo
Located in Otsuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, founded in 1661 as Hanadaya.
Later, Mr. Hisashi Amano, who inherited Hanadaya and became the first kuramoto (brewery owner), renamed it to the current Sasaichi Shuzo in 1919, boasting a history of over 300 years.
The brewing water used is groundwater originating from the sacred Mt. Fuji, flowing through the brewery's location. This water was chosen by Emperor Meiji to be carried with him during his imperial visit from Tokyo to Kyoto, and is known as "Gozen-sui" (Emperor's water).
Emphasizing the relationship with food above all else, rather than fully expressing individuality, the flavor is decided with the idea of sake as a beverage in mind.
