Made with black koji and unfiltered.
This is a carefully crafted imo shochu, made by harvesting carefully selected sweet potatoes and mashing them in pots on the very same day.
It is characterized by a strong richness, a fragrant aroma, and a crisp finish.
It can be enjoyed with water, on the rocks, or as oyuwari (with hot water), but oyuwari is especially recommended.

The history of the brewery began in 1845, when Sukesaemon Nishi started making shochu about 2km inland from Fukiagehama, one of Japan's three largest sand dunes.
Since then, we have been supported by the local community and have been diligently striving to produce delicious sake.
We also produce sake and whiskey in Kagoshima, and organic wine in New Zealand.
We will continue to dedicate ourselves to making delicious sake based on our belief that "sake brewing is agriculture."
