A gentle, hopeful red wine

Grapes carefully cultivated in various regions of Japan, including the Bordeaux varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Japanese native Muscat Bailey A, are fermented with wild yeast and wild lactic acid bacteria at the Ashikaga winery.

The aroma offers notes of raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry-like fruits, a spicy hint of green pepper, and nuances of licorice and cacao from barrel aging.

It has a light and fresh attack, very gentle tannins with no harshness in the flavor, and medium acidity that lends a refreshing quality to the wine.
You can enjoy a supple and well-balanced taste through to the finish.

"Coco Farm & Winery" is located at the foot of a mountain vineyard established in the 1950s.
They produce wine entirely from Japanese grapes, without using herbicides or chemical fertilizers in their own vineyards, and fermentation at the winery primarily uses natural wild yeasts.
They prioritize listening to the grapes and bringing out their inherent characteristics.
