The main ingredient is Hitomebore rice, carefully cultivated in Hiraizumi Town, Iwate Prefecture, home to the World Heritage site Chuson-ji Konjiki-do (Golden Hall).
The rice, blessed by the clear air and rich nature of the land, is carefully brewed with M7 yeast.
When poured into a glass, a subtle effervescence rises pleasantly, and a refreshing, green apple-like acidity gives a lively impression.
The mouthfeel is clean and clear, with a transparent drinkability that is appealing.
It has a light, lingering finish, making it a well-balanced sake that is easy to drink without fatigue.
This is a refreshing sake that truly shines when enjoyed with a meal.
"Okuroku" is a brand launched by Iwate Meijo in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture, as a limited-edition product for specialty stores, after approximately five years of trial brewing.
It uses 100% Iwate-grown rice as its main ingredient, pursuing sake that focuses on a balance of sweetness and acidity to be enjoyed with food.
It is a limited distribution brand for specialty stores that constantly challenges itself, returning to the origin of sake brewing.
