It is brewed using black koji and traditional methods in earthenware jars.
By keeping filtration to a minimum, we are able to create a rich, flavorful taste that is unique to black koji.
The label is made from Japanese paper recycled from milk cartons by people at a welfare workshop for the intellectually disabled.
Each bottle is hand-pasted, making this a special, limited edition sweet potato shochu that can only be produced in small quantities.
We especially recommend drinking it with hot water or on the rocks.
