Light and natural taste

Merlot, grown robustly in our own Kaze no Vineyard, is slowly and naturally fermented with wild yeast, then aged for one year in old barrels.

Please enjoy the light and natural taste, made by interfering as little as possible with nature.

Rita Farm & Winery is a small winery run by a husband and wife duo, the third to open in Yoichi, Hokkaido.
All of their single-varietal wines use 100% estate-grown grapes, and they practice natural fermentation with wild yeasts to pursue terroir.
They also use only gravity for wine transfer to minimize stress, and a gravity-fed filler for bottling.
