[Marusan Wine MIWAKUBO Merlot & Petit Verdeaux]

A small-batch red wine with a good balance of astringency and fruitiness.

The wine is made using Merlot and Petit Verdot grown in our own vineyards in Miwakubo, Katsunuma Town.
Each is harvested at the optimum time and then blended to bring out the best in each.

We deliberately do not use barrels, instead emphasizing the fruitiness.
It has fruity aromas of plum, cherry, and fig, as well as herbs and mushrooms.

A well-balanced red wine in which the softness of Merlot is supported by the complexity of Petit Verdot.
