This is an extra dry junmai sake with a sake meter value of +9, brewed by a sake brewery in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, using the pristine meltwater from the Taisetsu Mountains.
Its name is taken from Utagawa Kuniyoshi's ukiyo-e print "Seichu Gishin Nana-no Kagami," which depicts the Forty-seven Rōnin drinking Otokoyama sake.
It features a sharp, crisp finish with a subtle hint of acidity, and is the driest junmai sake from this brewery.
The sharp, crisp finish and rich umami that spreads through a refreshing taste make it an excellent pairing for sushi and sashimi.
