・The origin of the sake name "Garyu Ume" "Garyu" means a dragon hiding underground, and is an analogy for Zhuge Liang, a hero who hid among the common people because he had no opportunity to pursue his ambitions. At a Zen temple near Sanwa Shuzo, there is a "Garyu Ume" tree that is said to have been planted by Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Ieyasu, who later became the ruler of Japan, also had a time when he was a Garyu. Learning from the story of the Garyu, we named this sake "Garyu Ume" in the hope that it would eventually be praised as the finest sake in the world.
