Born from the beloved sweet potatoes of its birthplace, the remarkably clear natural spring water of Nanakubo, and a blend of both, this shochu is an embodiment of the earth and water spirits. It is, so to speak, the energy of the earth. And that momentum rotates; life itself rotates. It fills and spreads across the land, moistening the souls of people, and thus fulfills its role as shochu.
(The front label uses an ancient form of "kai" (回) to express the vibrancy of life.)
