The aroma is rich and refreshing, with toasted yeast, quince, fresh yellow fruits like apricot, Muscat, fresh mint, and citronella (lemongrass).

The palate is mellow, with a good balance of fresh fruitiness and supple acidity, leading to a clean finish.

Sakai Winery, founded in 1892, is the oldest winery in the Tohoku region.
Around 2007, they switched from conventional farming to pesticide-free grape cultivation in their own vineyards, where about 20 sheep graze to manage weeds.

They produce wine using natural yeasts and microorganisms found in the land, and continue to use traditional methods such as their non-filtered production method, which has been in practice since their founding, creating distinctive wines rooted in the local terroir.

*Although the label indicates the presence of antioxidants, no sulfites are added, so please store at a low temperature.
