Enjoy the pleasant harmony of our estate-grown Pinot Noir, aged in oak barrels, and Muscat Bailey A, produced using the carbonic maceration method.
Diverse aromas of strawberry, cherry, rosehip, and nuts gradually unfold.
It has a very smooth mouthfeel, with the vibrant quality of Bailey A on the attack, and the rustic fruitiness of Pinot Noir becoming dominant in the mid-palate.
The old barrels round out the overall profile, leading to a long, gentle finish.
It pairs well with pork sauté, quiche and pâté, pot-au-feu with vegetables and beans, and hard cheeses.
・What is carbonic maceration?
It is widely known as a method for making Beaujolais Nouveau.
It is a red wine production method in which uncrushed whole grape bunches are placed in a sealed tank filled with carbon dioxide for several days.
Wines made with this method have a pale, vibrant appearance, low astringency, and a light-bodied taste.
