Koshu grapes from the Hishiyama district are harvested in mid-October and slowly fermented and aged in new French oak barrels. This process brings out the fruit aroma, and the moderate oak flavor enhances the wine's taste.

This elegant Koshu wine boasts a superb balance of citrus fruitiness and vanilla-like oak flavors, accompanied by both strength and delicate taste.

Katsunuma in Yamanashi Prefecture is a very small town, but it is widely known as the birthplace of Japanese wine and is considered one of the regions producing high-quality wines.
Winemaker Toshikazu Ikeda was captivated by wine in his youth, moved to Katsunuma, and worked as a winemaker at a local winery.
In 1995, his long-cherished dream of independence came true, and "Ikeda Winery" was established in Katsunuma.
For 15 years since its establishment, the winery has been dedicated to crafting wines that emphasize taste.
