Gentle, Light Attack with a Fruity Finish

While previous vintages of this wine were made with 100% Riesling Lion, this season saw a limited supply of Riesling Lion, so Müller-Thurgau is the primary grape.
It is blended with Riesling Lion and Sauvignon Blanc from our own vineyards to balance the overall flavor.

The color is a lustrous lemon yellow.
Strong aroma of green apple, with notes of white flowers, stone fruits, and esters.
The taste has a gentle, light attack, with a fruity finish that includes bitterness and acidity, and a hint of salinity afterwards.

It's light and delicate, pairing well with raw seafood.

Very small amount of chaptalization, no acidification. Fining agents used, filtered.

Kanda Vineyard is a historic winery founded in 1903. They carefully ferment grapes grown in their own vineyards, utilizing the climate of Sanriku, to produce wines with natural flavors.
