Yamanashi Prefecture's first sweet potato shochu!

This is a limited distribution sweet potato shochu from Sasaichi Shuzo, a sake brewery in Yamanashi Prefecture.
It achieves a mellow taste by using "Gozensui," the famous water from Sasago, which is also used in sake brewing.
It has very little of the distinctive sweet potato smell, and is fruity and delicate with a hint of plum.
The slightly higher alcohol content of 26% is an accent. This is an easy-to-drink sweet potato shochu that you won't get tired of.

This shochu was created with the hope that the people of Kai no Kuni would enjoy a stylish and refined sweet potato shochu.
We are delighted that the marriage of carefully selected sweet potatoes and Sasago's famous water, "Gozensui," is almost exactly as we envisioned.
