Made with Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes and aged for over 3 years in traditional earthenware pots.
This imo shochu boasts deep umami, sweetness, and aroma.
Careful aging has slowly brought out the rich umami, resulting in a mellow and flavorful imo shochu.

We have been able to preserve the tradition of handmade shochu using the same earthenware pots from our founding and thanks to our indigenous yeast.
We truly feel that our distillery has been intertwined with the history of Kaida.
Marunishi Shuzo will continue to strive for delicious shochu production.
And we sincerely hope to be a distillery that contributes to the development of our hometown, Shibushi, through shochu production.
