In addition to souvenirs for your trip to Yamanashi,
Because of its name "Success Sake," it is also used as a gift to celebrate graduation or employment.
○ From the Taikan Sake Brewery official website
The name "Taikan" comes from the "Taikan" (large crown), which was said to be bitten by a successful military officer to celebrate his future.
Taikan is a sake that was named so because it was suitable for celebrations. It was founded in 1877 and has a history of over 120 years.
The brewery is located in the Southern Alps, and in a kept clean environment, the gold medal-winning sake "Taikan Daiginjo" is brewed under the direction of Yoshimitsu Kikuchi (Suwa Toji), who became the head brewer at the tender age of 32 .
