In 1790 , the first head of the Yorozuya family , Hachigoro Yorozuya, opened a sake brewery in the current location . - Akiko Yosano , a poet who was close friends with Junji Nakagome, visited the brewery in 1932 . The name was changed to ``Shunuusaku'' because of the poem, ``A visit to Horyu-ji Temple is like a visit to the sake of the spring Uguisudo.''
We use slightly hard underflow water from Mt. Kushigata, the southernmost point of the Southern Alps, for the preparation of our sake, and we mainly brew pure rice sake in the cold.
The taste of Shunuisaku is a slightly dry type with a soft flavor with a slightly refined sourness.
As the name suggests, it has a heartwarming flavor reminiscent of spring in Kai, a mountainous country.
