A natural wine Grape Republic is proud of, with a pleasant yeast aftertaste
Made with 100% organic grapes from their own vineyard.
No pesticides other than Bordeaux mixture are sprayed, and organic cultivation is done without fertilizer or compost. Grapes are carefully sorted during harvest, and destemmed entirely by hand.
After fermentation with the skins in amphora for 11-13 days, the grapes are pressed. They are then returned to amphora for 8 months of aging before bottling. Fermented with wild yeast. Unfined, unfiltered, no added sulfites.
It has a gorgeous fruity aroma, like jasmine or fresh orange. The taste offers fresh citrus notes like hassaku oranges, along with a refreshing quality reminiscent of cold-brew green tea and pleasant tannins.
There is also a lingering yeast-like aftertaste. This is a flagship wine that embodies the essence of Grape Republic.
