Sweet potato shochu released to commemorate the Contemporary Master Craftsman Award
This is a commemorative sweet potato shochu made to commemorate the award given to Kurose Yasumitsu, head brewer of the Kurose Toji Traditional Brewery, in 2013 when he was awarded the Contemporary Master Craftsman title.
The koji used is Kawachikin G - type white koji, blended with 3 to 5 year old stored sake.
The unique characteristics of the well-balanced white koji stand out, and the flavor of aged sake gives the sake a very soft quality.
A gorgeous aroma, mellow flavor and a rich aftertaste.
This is a high-quality sweet potato shochu with a finish worthy of an award-winning product.
