Kakutama 720ml/1800ml
[Kakudama]
The more you drink the more you get used to the taste
This is a regular sweet potato shochu from Sada Muneta Shoten, the brewery that produces the popular brand "Seikou Udoku."
Made with black koji and potatoes grown by local contracted farmers.
This shochu has a gentle and calming aroma and flavor, and when you put it in your mouth, it has a lovely taste that reminds you of eating a Japanese sweet with white bean paste.
From the official Sata Muneni Shoten website
When I entered the world of shochu 20 years ago, the idea was that "shochu is distilled, so all shochu is the same."
I would like to open the door to an era in the world of shochu where the range of shochu quality will be wider because it is distilled.
I believe that the "truth" of each era changes depending on the surrounding environment and the perspective from which things are viewed.
It's a door with a rather long name: "Shochu is distilled, which allows for a wide range of quality alcohol," but I would be grateful if you could help open that door.
