Soleil Hikumo Rouge 2020 Pinot Noir & Muscat Bailey A 720ml
[Soleil Hikumo Rouge 2020 Pinot Noir & Muscat Bailey A]
Aged in old barrels to reduce milkiness and give it an elegant finish
You can enjoy the pleasant harmony between Pinot Noir from our own vineyards, which has been aged in oak barrels, and Muscat Bailey A, which is brewed using the carbonic maceration method.
The diverse aromas of strawberry, cherry, rosehip and nuts gradually open up.
It has a very smooth mouthfeel, with the attack being the gorgeousness of Bailey A, and the wild fruitiness of Pinot Noir dominating in the middle.
The old barrels give the wine a rounded, soft finish that lingers for a long time.
It goes well with sauteed pork, quiche, pate, vegetable and bean pot-au-feu, and hard cheeses.
The carbonic maceration method is widely known as the method used to make Beaujolais Nouveau.
This is a red wine brewing method in which grapes are not crushed but are placed in sealed tanks filled with carbon dioxide for several days.
Wines made using this method have a light, vibrant appearance, little astringency and are easy to drink.
