This sake is inspired by a desire for a drinkable sake on hot summer days, with a taste like a non-sweet "adult Calpis Soda."
As a lightly cloudy sake, it is light and refreshing. With slightly higher acidity than regular Yamashiroya, it is a Niigata "Neo Tanrei" sake designed to be enjoyable throughout the summer without tiring your palate.

It pairs very well with refreshing summer dishes such as vinegared dishes, fried eggplant in dashi, caprese, and prosciutto & arugula.

Enjoy this light and refreshing sake on a hot summer evening; one glass leads to two, and two to three, without ever becoming tiresome.
