A blend of four varieties, with Kai Noir as the main ingredient, and aged in barrels for nine months.
The overwhelming individuality of Kai Noir is softly enveloped by the other varieties, resulting in a powerful yet clean and well-balanced medium-bodied wine.
Last year, the proportion of Kai Noir was low due to illness, but this year it is back to its usual style.
A powerful aroma of conifers, tanned leather, dried plums, vanilla, and other bitter and sweet notes mixed with black earth.
In the mouth, the black cherry-like fruitiness slowly develops into a dense liquid with a strong acidity.
It has little bitterness and a smooth texture.
Finally, the savory aroma of roasted wood lingers on your palate.
It goes well with thick-sliced bacon, fatty game dishes such as wild boar hotpot, dark stews such as sukiyaki and doteni, and mutton curry.
