A white wine that is drier than you would expect from its aroma, with the bitter aftertaste of tannins adding depth to the taste.

Rather than fermenting the liquor in barrels, fermenting the fruit juice in barrels and fermenting it with alcohol produces a softer aroma, so loosely squeezed black grapes are fermented in barrels.
