[Spring Nightingale Song Takazasu Junmai]

Won the highest gold award at Japan's largest hot sake contest!

"Takazasu" is named after Mount Kushigatake (Mount Takazasu), the southernmost mountain in the Southern Alps.
This is a dry, crisp sake for men. As it is a local sake, we wanted to stick to using local rice and water, so we used Tamazakae rice, which is suitable for sake brewing and is grown under contract in Fujikawa-cho, where the brewery is located, and the finest underground water from Mount Kushigatake (Mount Takazasu), at the southernmost tip of the Southern Alps. This Junmai sake is the ultimate in "local production for local consumption."

We recommend serving it lukewarm ( 40℃ to 45℃ ).
It appeared in the 82nd volume of "Oishinbo" published by Shogakukan.

Excerpt from the official website of Yorozuya Brewery
In 1790 , the first head of the family , Yorozuya Hachigoro, opened the brewery at its current location, and at the time the name of the sake was first used as "Ichiriki Masamune." However, in 1932 , the poet Yosano Akiko, who was a friend of the French literature scholar Nakagomi Junji, the younger brother of the sixth head of the family, Nakagomi Min, visited the brewery and wrote the following poem: "The sake of Kai, like going to Horyuji Temple, from the brewery where the song of the spring nightingale is heard." This led to the name being changed to "Haruouisuzou. "
We use slightly hard underground water from Mt. Kushigatake, the southernmost tip of the Southern Alps, for brewing, and we mainly produce pure rice sake in the winter.
The flavor of Haruouisuzume is slightly dry with a soft, savory flavor and a subtle, refined acidity.
As the name suggests, it has a charming, warm flavor that evokes spring in the mountainous region of Kai.
