For the past few years, due to the impact of the new coronavirus, there have been various difficulties in many areas.
In our immediate surroundings, there was significant damage to restaurants, our customers, which led to reduced sales at various wineries, inability to export, production adjustments at wineries, and resulting price reductions, sudden cancellations, and so on for our contract farmers.

However, tragedies, whether natural or man-made, have always occurred to some extent. We were born as human beings on this earth.
Humans are just one tiny species among the life forms on Earth.

In the constantly changing activities of this Earth year after year, it is only because we were born as humans, the only life form with the essence of desire, that we are confused by these changes or feel joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure.
That being said, it is not to be pessimistic or to belittle humanity, but precisely because we are a unique life form, I believe there is something we can do for the workings of this Earth.

Even if man-made or natural disasters occur, one's perspective alone can lead to happiness or misfortune.
In the case of this incident, it led to new encounters with farmers.
Indeed, we met farmers in Kaminoyama City who lovingly and diligently grow grapes. If this hadn't happened, we might not have met them.
And so, new wonderful colleagues were added, and the wine became something that everyone could enjoy.
With such a story, we created the wine "POS."

Fattoria AL FIORE (Fattoria Alfiole) makes wine by renovating a 폐교 (closed school) gymnasium in Miyagi Prefecture.
Aiming to "continue to be a wine that expresses the grapes as they are," rather than a strong superficial impact, they strive for a wine that, though not flashy, purely conveys its inherent goodness as you taste it. They produce natural, additive-free wines without added sugar or acid, without antioxidants, and unfiltered.
