・Excerpt from Ikeda Winery Official Website
Katsunuma, Yamanashi Prefecture, though a small town, is widely known as the birthplace of Japanese wine and is recognized as one of the regions producing high-quality wines.
Winemaker Toshikazu Ikeda was captivated by wine at a young age, moved to Katsunuma, and worked at a winery in the town.
In 1995, he realized his long-held dream of independence, and Ikeda Winery was established in Katsunuma.
For 15 years since its establishment, the winery has focused on crafting wines with exceptional flavor.
"Through wine, the hearts of the maker and the drinker connect."
